Royal diary: upcoming engagements 22-28th January

23rd January:

The Duke of Cambridge will deliver the keynote speech at the Charity Commission Annual Public Meeting (APM) at the The Royal Institution of Great Britain, London.

The Princess Royal, Master of the Corporation of Trinity House, will chair a Quarterly Court Meeting and attend a Luncheon at Trinity House, Tower Hill, London. Princess Anne will also open Octavia House in London as patron of The Royal College of Emergency Medicine.

24th January:

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall will visit The Old Sawmill in Congleton, Cheshire, as well as the Town Hall, to celebrate 700 years of the mayoralty of Congleton. Prince Charles will visit the Quarry Bank Mill’s Styal Estate (as president of the National Trust), Styal Primary School and Norcliffe Unitarian Chapel, in Wilmslow. Meanwhile, The Duchess of Cornwall, as patron of The National Literacy Trust, will visit The Clink restaurant at HMP Styal, Wilmslow, Cheshire.

– The Duchess of Cambridge will visit the Maurice Wohl Clinical Neuroscience Institute at theInstitute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, King’s College London, as well as the Perinatal Service at Bethlem Royal Hospital, Bromley.

The Princess Royal will open the Deveron Community and Sport Centre, Banffshire; open the Myrus Community and Sport Centre, Macduff, Banffshire; and visit Duff House, Banff, Banffshire. In the evening, as an Honorary Fellow of The Royal Society of Edinburgh, Anne will attend the Triennial Dinner, Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh.

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester will visit the Francis Crick Institute in London; Prince Richard is joint President.

Princess Alexandra will visit the Royal Star and Garter Homes at Upper Brighton Road, Surbiton, as their President. She will also will visit The Old Moat Garden Centre in Epsom, Surrey, as patron of The Richmond Fellowship.

25th January:

The Duchess of Cornwall will visit the Metropolitan Police Service Base, Lambeth.

The Earl of Wessex will attend a Lunch at The Caledonian Club, London, as Royal Honorary Colonel of The London Regiment. Prince Edward will also attend a dinner at St.James’s Palace as patron of British Ski and Snowboard.

The Princess Royal will visit Ginetta Cars, Garforth, Leeds, West Yorkshire, as well as Scientific Games International Limited in Leeds, and open the Leeds College of Building on the Hunslet Campus. Princess Anne is to also visit Cryer and Stott Cheesemongers in Castleford.

26th January:

The Duchess of Gloucester, patron of the Arts Society, will attend the opening of the “Age of Jazz” Exhibition at Two Temple Place, London.

27th January:

The Duke of Kent, patron of the London Philharmonic Orchestra, will attend a performance of Das Rheingold at the Royal Festival Hall, Southbank Centre, London.
