Arriving in gusty winds, Her Majesty, followed by Princess Anne, held onto her hat as she entered the chapel to listen to the service, marking the resurrection of Christ.

The Duke of York, Princess Eugenie, Princess Beatrice, The Earl and Countess of Wessex, Lady Louise and James, Viscount Severn were some of the regular attendees of this service every year.

Peter and Autumn Phillips also joined The Queen to celebrate, greeting her at the door as she arrived. Sir Timothy Lawrence, Anne’s husband and equerry to Her Majesty was also in attendance.

After the service ended, the Queen was handed a bouquet of flowers by seven-year-old Christabella Maners, from Windsor.

Prince William is currently in Kenya, believing to be attending a former girlfriend’s wedding there. It is thought that Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, is celebrating Easter at her parents’ house in Berkshire with her children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The couple have not been seen at this service since their marriage in 2011.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry is still in Nepal, after deciding to extend his tour to help rebuild a local school following the earthquake last year. Charles and Camilla, who recently got back from their tour of the Balkans, do not usually attend.
