William and Kate meet with Hollywood Royalty Brad and Angelina

It has been reported that The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met with actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie-Pitt last month.

A Kensington Palace spokesperson has reportedly confirmed the meeting, which took place at Kensington Palace, the Cambridges London home.

Brad and Angelina were there to discuss their shared passion for wildlife and their want to stop the illegal wildlife trade. William, Catherine and Prince Harry’s joint trust, The Royal Foundation, supports conservation causes, as well as the Armed Forces and its veterans, and youths.

It is not clear if the Cambridges invited the couple, or if a meeting was suggested by acting couple.

Mrs Jolie-Pitt serves as a special envoy of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and was in London with her family for a luncheon at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office.

The actress, 35, received an honourary Damehood from The Queen in October, for her humanitarian work, including that to help end sexual violence in conflict situations.

In March, Prince William travelled to China and Japan, where he made impassioned pleas for the East’s help to stop illegal wildlife trade, where many animals and animal products are believed to have special properties in oriental medicines, despite lack of scientific evidence.

No other details have been released about the meeting, though it seems we may be seeing a joint venture against the illegal wildlife trade from the couples in the future.
