Royal diary: latest engagements 30th October – 5th November

More travel in eastern Europe for The Earl of Wessex, while Prince Charles and Camilla are in Asia, and Prince Harry is heading to Chicago.

30th October:

– The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall begin their tour of south-east Asia.

– The Duke of Cambridge will attend the Pride of Britain Awards at Grosvenor House.

– The Duke of York, as Royal Fellow of The Royal Society, will attend a Royal Medals Reception and host a dinner at Buckingham Palace for The Prince Andrew Charitable Trust, which he founded.

– The Earl of Wessex will attend the International Gold Event Closing Ceremony for The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, Prague Crossroads, Czech Republic, and attend an Emerging Leaders’ Forum, Hotel International Prague, Czech Republic.

– The Duke of Gloucester, patron of Canine Partners for Independence, will attend a reception at Fishmongers’ Hall, London.

– The Duke of Kent, as Grand Master, will attend a meeting of Grand Masters, Freemasons’ Hall, London.

Prince Andrew has another round of Pitch at the Palace this coming week (NI Office)

31st October:

– The Duchess of Cambridge, Patron, will visit the Lawn Tennis Association (Wimbledon).

– Prince Harry will attend the inaugural Summit of the Obama Foundation in Chicago, Illinois.

– The Princess Royal, as master of the Corporation of Trinity House, will attend a Lunch at Trinity House, before visiting the Joint Helicopter Support Squadron to mark the 35th Anniversary, at RAF Benson. Later in the evening Princess Anne will be attending the Equestrian Awards Dinner, London Marriott Grosvenor Square, as president of the Animal Health Trust.

– The Earl of Wessex will attend an International DofE Council Meeting, Hotel International Prague, Czech Republic, and will attend Gold Award Ceremonies for young people who have reached the Gold Standard in the Award at the Senate, Czech Republic. Prince Edward is to attend the International Council Dinner, Hotel International Prague, Czech Republic.

– The Countess of Wessex, patron of the Scar Free Foundation, will hold at lunch, likely at Buckingham Palace.

– The Duke of Gloucester will visit Carrs Silver, open the new Headquarters at Westfield Health, visit Chapmans Agricultural, and Linbrooke Training Centre, all in Sheffield.

– The Duke of Kent, Grand Master, will attend the United Grand Lodge of England’s Tercentenary event at the Royal Albert Hall, and attend the Senior Serving and Retired Officers’ Briefing at the National Army Museum, Royal Hospital Road, Chelsea, as Field Marshal.

– Princess Alexandra will open the new Richmond Wing of the Queen Alexandra Hospital Home, Boundary Road, Worthing, as their president.

1st November:

– The Duke of York, founder of Pitch@Palace, will host Pitch@Palace 8.0, St. James’s Palace.

– The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, will attend an International Council and later a trustees Meeting at the Hotel International Prague, Czech Republic. He will also attend a ceremony dinner at Lichtenstein Palace, Czech Republic.

– The Countess of Wessex will open the new Countess Gytha Primary School, Somerset; Sophie is to visit the Balsam Centre in Wincanton, and will also visit the Centre of Applied Autism Research, University of Bath.

– The Princess Royal will attend the National Historic Ships UK Awards Ceremony at the Corporation of Trinity House, and, will attend a reception and dinner at the Corporation of Trinity House, as patron of the Special Forces Club. Anne is to attend the Organising Committee Meeting for the Institute of Mechanical Engineers as President of National Equine Forum.

– The Duke of Gloucester, president of the Greenwich Foundation, will receive Mr Brendan McCarthy (Outgoing Chief Executive) and Ms Angela McConville (Incoming Chief Executive). Mr Tony Hales (Chairman) will be present. As patron of The Royal Pioneer Corps Association, will meet Brigadier Charles Telfer (outgoing President), Colonel Alex Barnes (incoming President) and Colonel David Clouston (incoming Chairman).

– The Duke of Kent, president, will attend the Vice-President’s Lunch at The Cavalry and Guards Club, London.

– Princess Alexandra, Royal Patron, will attend the Oxford Philharmonic Trust Concert and dinner at Buckingham Palace.

2nd November:

– The Duke of Cambridge, royal patron of Tusk, will attend the conservation charity’s gala dinner at Roundhouse, London.

– The Duke of York, founder of Pitch@Palace, will host a Pitch@Palace Scale Up CEO Forum, Buckingham Palace.

– The Earl of Wessex will visit the International School of Prague, Czech Republic and attend the Award Ceremony at Slovak Parliament, Slovakia. He will also attend a Dinner at Hotel Sheraton, Slovakia.

– The Countess of Wessex, patron of the Greater London Fund for the Blind, will hold a dinner at Buckingham Palace.

– The Princess Royal will visit Edward Edwards’ Almshouses to mark the 300th Anniversary, Edwards Edwards’ House,  London; hold a Lunch at Buckingham Palace as patron of the Wooden Spoon Society. As Prime Warden of the Fishmongers’ Company, she will attend the Wardens’ dinner to Livery Sporting Societies, Fishmongers’ Hall, London, and Anne is hold The Princess Royal Training Awards Ceremony at St. James’s Palace as president of the City and Guilds of London Institute.

– The Duke of Gloucester, Chancellor of the University of Worcester, will attend the Graduate Award Ceremony for the Institute of Science and the Environment, in Worcester Cathedral. He will also visit Holly Beds Farm, Earls Croome.

3rd November:

– The Duke of Cambridge will attend the Metropolitan Police Service Passing Out Parade, to mark the graduation of 182 new recruits from the Met’s Police Academy at Hendon Police College, London.

– The Duke of York, founder of Inspiring Digital Enterprise Award, will visit the Turnpike Centre and present Bronze Awards in Wigan, and visit Manchester Metropolitan University and present Bronze Awards.

– The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, will visit Gymnasium of Jur Hronec, Slovakia.

– The Princess Royal, patron of the Pony Club, will attend the Horse and Pony Care Competition, Cantref Pony Club Centre, Brecon, Powys, and open the Kurtsystems horse training technology, Lambourn, Berkshire.

– The Duke of Gloucester, Grand Prior of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem, will attend a Service at the Priory Church of St. John, Clerkenwell, London, followed by a Meeting of the Council of the Alliance of the Orders of St. John.

– The Duchess of Gloucester, President of Royal Academy of Music, will attend a performance of ‘James Newton Howard: Three Decades of Music for Hollywood’ at the Royal Albert Hall.

4th November:

– The Princess Royal, patron of the Women’s Royal Naval Service Centenary, will attend a Service of Thanksgiving at Portsmouth Anglican Cathedral.
