New photo by Testino to mark Camilla’s 70th birthday

Clarence House released a new photo of Prince Charles and Camilla, to celebrate her 70th birthday tomorrow.

The image was taken by photographer Mario Testino, who has taken numerous royal portraits in the past, including Princess Charlotte’s christening in 2015.

Standing in the Morning Room of Clarence House, the couple stand shoulder to shoulder, smiling into the camera.

The Duchess of Cornwall is wearing a navy top and jacket, with her trademark pearl necklace and drop earrings, while Charles stands in a navy check suit and pale blue tie.

Many royal fans have praised the photo, but others have commented on the ‘softness’ of it, which looks too perfect and maybe  airbrushed or photoshopped.

  1. I think it is a great photo. I also think that Camilla had some cosmetic surgery done to soften her. Thank goodness. She was looking bad. She lost a decade or so if you look at past photos. I think that well they are just at the age where they really don’t give a hoot other than them being happy and enjoying the life they have left together and for that I actually respect them. (I always thought they were disgraceful for what they did to Diana) (not just Charles and Camilla but the whole damn British Crown including the queen). Diana left a remarkable legacy and will rest in Gods arms.
